Microsoft Certification: Faster Promotions, Bigger Raises
While skills and experience play an important role in the hiring process for most information technology employers, Microsoft Certification can lead to the fastest promotions and biggest raises among technology workers. Industry trade magazine Redmond discovered that Microsoft Certification helped professionals earn an average 3.3 percent raise from 2005 to 2006.Other computer engineers earned raises of about 0.3 percent during that time period.
