According to a study by The Milken Institute, ranks Washington fifth on the list of the leading states for growth in technology and science. For professionals interested in "green" technologies, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that the state enjoyed the fourth-biggest beneficiary of clean-tech investments at $121.25 million. The top tech employers in the Washington include Cingular Wireless, University Of Washington, Seattle-Tacoma Intl-Sea, Microsoft Corp, and Boeing.
