Alabama Computer Training Schools

Alabama has a well-deserved reputation for being the ideal launch pad for a technology career. IT should be especially strong in the coming year for opportunity and advancement. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the Alabama information industry grew 3.7% in December 2007 alone.

According to TechPolicyBank, Alabama ranks 22nd in number of technology workers and 31st in average technology earnings among the states. In addition, technology professionals earn an average of $24,265 more per year than other private sector workers. The city of Huntsville is especially hot for technology, as it boasts the NASA George C. Marshall Space Flight Center and the US Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal. And the state's location on the southeastern coast makes it especially receptive to international markets.
