Florida Technical College offers both associate degree programs and diploma programs in technology related fields. And you can earn your degree in as little as 18 months. Our programs focus on training for some of the Top 10 career opportunities for the next decade (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, February 2001) including network administration, computer programming, Oracle Database Administrator, computer drafting, electronics, medical office management and business management.

DEGREE PROGRAMS

• Network Administration/Programming
  This program offers students the opportunity to enter the exciting field of software design using the latest programming tools. The curriculum prepares students with entry-level skills in network design, network administration and programming. Course work emphasizes Windows NT, C++ and JAVA.
• Network Administration/ Hardware
  Prepare for certification in A+ certification and MCSE certification. This program combines Microsoft networking with electronics curriculum and training. Introduces Cisco router course work and hardware aspects of networking.
• Electronics/Computer Technology
  With today's technology, much of the success of business, networks and products depends of the skilled technicians who understand the working process and parts of microcomputer systems. Florida Technical College will prepare you to enter this expanding career field.
• Computer Drafting and Design
  Computer-aided design has become the easiest, fastest and most accurate method of designing or modeling everything from basic integrated circuits to an Indy racecar…from a digital computer game to Hollywood's most fantastic special effects. FTC Computer Drafting and Design program will take you from the basics to an advanced understanding of CAD and set you on your way to an exciting career.
• Business and Management Technology
  This area of study offers a combination of courses in general education, business, communications, and computer science to give you the training you need for a rewarding business career.
• Medical Administrative Assistant
  This program provides students with the education, training, basic skills and knowledge of administrative and clerical functions needed to obtain employment in a health care facility.

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

• Network Administration Diploma
  The six-month Network Administration diploma program is focused on the student's preparation for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) exams. Students learn current operating and network systems and future technology and design concepts.
• C++/JAVA Programming Diploma
  This program's coursework concentrates on the computing markets recent programming and development tools, C++ and JAVA.
