Programs
- Associate of Applied Science in Computer Network Technology (AASCNT) - This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level networking positions in the computer industry. These career opportunities may be in areas such as network analysis and design, network installation, network administration, and network support.
- Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration (AASBA) - This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level positions in various business enterprises. These career opportunities may be in areas such as accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, business administration, marketing and human resources.
- Associate of Applied Science, Diploma in Dental Assisting (AASDA, DDA) - The goal of the dental assistant program is to train the student to become a productive member of the dental health team. This includes preparing the student for a variety of duties performed by the dental assistant in the contemporary dental office, including chairside assisting, laboratory procedures, administrative duties and expanded functions. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to successfully gain entry-level employment as a Dental Assistant. Upon completion of the Dental Assistant program, graduates are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board Radiation Health & Safety examination which upon successful completion allows for Radiology licensing in the State of Ohio. These students may also sit for the Ohio Dental Association Certification Examination upon graduation and for the General Chairside Examination given by the Dental Assisting National Board after six months of full-time work experience and after having qualified for CPR Certification.
- Associate of Applied Science, Diploma in Medical Assisting (AASMA, DMA) - The introduction of students to the overall operation of the physician's office is the basic objective of this program. Students are trained to assist the physician in the examination room, to perform routine laboratory procedures and to handle financial records, correspondence, insurance forms and other administrative functions. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to successfully gain entry-level employment as a Medical Assistant. After completion of the accredited program, graduates may take the certification examination given by the American Association of Medical Assistants at the next scheduled examination date.
- Associate of Applied Science, Diploma in Medical Billing & Insurance Coding (AASMBIC, DMBIC) - The goal of the medical billing and insurance coding program is to provide the student with a thorough understanding of the content of the medical record as well as extensive training in anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and medical terminology. This program will provide the student with the knowledge and understanding to analyze medical records and assign codes to classify diagnoses and procedures while applying the principles of professional and ethical conduct. The program will prepare the student for an entry-level position as a medical coder in a hospital, clinic or other health care facility.
