Health Information Specialist
This program will provide the student with the educational background and practical skills necessary to assume entry level positions as Massage Therapists in today’s multifaceted alternative therapies environment including rehabilitation and wellness centers, chiropractic and medical offices, corporate wellness programs and self-employment. This training program includes the fundamentals of Therapeutic Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Clinical Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. Students can get practical on-the-job experience through the school’s clinic that offers massage services to the public. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible to take the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Medical Assistant
This program will prepare students to perform patient care skills, clinical procedures, examination preparation, medical office procedures, CPR, first aid, treatment room procedures, lab techniques, diagnostic testing and medical office management. The Medical Assistant program encompasses the administrative, technical and clinical areas of medical practice and will prepare graduates for entry-level employment as generalists in offices of physicians, surgeons, hospitals or other out-patient facilities.
Network & Internet Security Administration
This program will provide the student with the education, training, and skills necessary to assume entry-level positions in the personal computer field, specifically in networking, network administration and network security including preparation for the certifications in A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Security+, Linux+, Microsoft 70-270, and Microsoft 70-215. Upon successful completion the student would be eligible for employment positions such as Information Systems Security Administrator, Network Security Analyst, Network Administrator, Networking Associate, Network Operator, System Designer and Web Site Administrator.>br />
Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician program trains students in pharmacology, pharmacy business, medication preparation, insurance & billing processing, patient relations, reading physician’s orders & hospital charts, inventory tracking & maintenance and medical records and accuracy. This program will provide the student with the education, training and skills necessary to assume entry-level employment as Pharmacy Technicians positions in today’s ever growing pharmaceutical environment. Pharmacy Technician graduates may obtain positions in Pharmaceutical companies, retail pharmacies, hospitals, mail order pharmaceutical processing centers and other out patient facilities.
The Career Services department assists every student with help in gaining employment part time during training, and for full time careers after graduation. Students are prepared to enter the workforce with skills in resume writing, job-interviewing procedures, and overall job search techniques. CLN participates in the UPS "Earn & Learn" program that provides part time jobs and tuition reimbursement for students.
CLN is licensed by The PA State Board Of Private Licensed Schools, is accredited by The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), and is a member of the Career College Association (CCA). CLN maintains an active role in the business and employment community where a Program Advisory Committee meets with CLN staff throughout the year to advise the school on course development and hiring needs. This enables CLN to get immediate feedback from industry professionals, help identify trends, keep training programs up to date, and adjust curriculum when necessary.
