IT Industry Anticipates Microsoft Vista and Office Launch, and Training, Too

The information technology industry is eagerly awaiting the worldwide debut of the new Vista operating system, as industry analysts say it boasts new collaborative software, XML technology, and better information management tools. The follow-up to this launch will include much needed Microsoft training programs, and some have already begun to surface.

A New 'Vista' For 2007

As Microsoft launches Vista, its new operating system, information technology professionals and enthusiasts also await the debut of the new Microsoft Office suite. The information technology training industry also awaits the arrival of the new software, eager to expand its offerings to include training on the most widely used personal and business software in the world.

Some initial training programs are beginning to pop up across the industry, in anticipation for the 2007 release of the new Office suite. One information technology training provider has announced the launch of an online training program, including training courses on Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and more.

Online training in IT has grown in popularity among information technology job holders and seekers, most of whom hold full-time positions in the industry already, and need flexible programs they can complete at night and on weekends. This is another benefit of using third party vendors; most are authorized providers (a good thing to check on), and they provide similar if not the same certification as the manufacturer.
