RFID (or Radio Frequency Identification) is still in its infancy but business interest is growing fast and so is demand for people with the relevant knowledge and skills. In March 2006 CompTIA announced the launch of its new RFID training program, billed as an industry first. This new, vendor-neutral certification program has been designed by CompTIA in collaboration with industry experts to create a training program that will teach the skills really needed to implement and maintain a successful RFID system. The CompTIA training program will teach you to install, configure and maintain the hardware and software necessary for an RFDI system. You will also learn how to do a site survey and analysis, and how to choose, place and test tags.
