• PTI is the only career school in Western PA accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
  
  
• PTI’s Graduate Services Department employs 22 full-time individuals dedicated to helping students and graduates find employment. PTI helps graduates find jobs locally, regionally, and nationally when they first enter the workforce or later when they’re ready to switch jobs or relocate.
  
  
• All associate degree graduates complete an industry internship in their major.
  
  
• PTI houses 1,000 computers for student instruction.
  
  
• PTI offers selected computer programming classes through iCarnegie, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University. PTI students pass iCarnegie courses at a higher rate than students from other schools.
  
  
• PTI does not increase tuition annually for enrolled students who stay in school and stay in the same program.
  
  
• PTI sponsors these student organizations: Alpha Beta Gamma Business Honorary, American Drafting and Design Association, American Institute of Graphic Arts, Association of Information Technology Professionals, American Marketing Association, American Society of Travel Agents, and Electronics Technicians Association.
  
  
• PTI offers free parking to all students and designates parking spaces for handicapped and pregnant students.
  
  

The final measure of our success as an institution is the success of our graduates as individuals. Many PTI students accept jobs before they graduate. Most land full-time positions within weeks of graduation. Nearly all go to work within just months.

We work hard to uncover opportunities, schedule interviews, and identify hiring trends.
