"The Responsible Choice" As the Tampa Bay area's only family owned and operated certification center, the Center for Technology Training at Certification Associates, Inc. strives to treat all who are enrolled in our programs as extended members of our family. Since 1997, Bruce and Teresa Pla have offered an unparalleled level of commitment - that every Associate enrolled in their program will be trained until all tests required for certification have been passed, and they are certified. Conventional programs fail to address the pitfalls that occur between the end of the class and passing the tests. Any "guarantee" that is offered usually disappears after reading the fine print. What makes Certification Associates better than other certification programs? Why should I join your program? Responsibility. The traditional school's approach is to fulfill their obligation by having you attend their classes. Once the classes are over, or your time runs out, so does their responsibility. There are no assurances that you will pass all of your tests. Certification Associates will follow you through the complete process of obtaining your certifications. Our job isn't done until you are! I don't have a lot of experience. Will I feel left behind the others? How much knowledge should I have before I begin? Starting something new is usually a bit intimidating. Knowing the proper place to begin and doing the proper preparation is the key to feeling more comfortable. Visit a counselor at CAI and let him or her suggest where the best place is to begin. Our counselors will take into consideration several factors before you will be allowed to be an Associate. They will not just take your money and leave you on your own. The consultation with a counselor is free of charge, will take approximately 30 minutes, and will resolve all of your concerns. How can you advertise that you are less than what conventional schools charge, yet offer a superior program? We can offer a superior program, at a significantly lower price, because CAI is an independent test preparation center. By being independent we don't have to pay bureaucratic fees to third-party vendors to deliver our program. We can focus on more important issues such as the quality of our program and what you will need to be successful. This allows us to deal with the needs of the individual and to remain more objective. I can't learn from books. I need to get my hands on something to really feel like I've learned it. What do you offer for that? CAI is a BIG believer in hands-on practice. We are open 7 days a week for your access to our labs. We offer live practice - not just simulation - because we all learn from our mistakes. We are not a "certification mill" and you will never be a "paper" certified professional. What's the basis of your method of preparation? You will meet with the director for an orientation and to discuss what you will require to successfully achive your goals. You will also receive your class materials and be required to do some pre-class study before attending the class and meeting with your instructor. After your instructor-led sessions you will prepare for the test. We will have you do independent lab studies to gain a feeling of competency with what you have done in class. Then, simulated tests and a review of the concepts to be tested on will assure your confidence in passing the test.
