- Backup and Recovery
- Performance Tuning
- Network Administration
Oracle Training is Tough, but Worth It!Information technology training for Oracle is hard work, and can be expensive. (Oracle University charges as much as $2,000 - $3,000 for a single course). Time and cost savings can be realized, however, by pursuing third-party schools for Oracle certification. Many computer jobs allow for tuition reimbursement, too, lowering or eliminating the total expense.
Having "Oracle Certified Associate" or "Professional" can be priceless, however. For some jobs it's a requirement, and for others, it sets candidates apart from the competition. Better job opportunities with better salaries are often the worthwhile results of Oracle certification.
